"My son loves these sessions, I appreciated all the help and support I received."
Our stay and play sessions are a safe & supportive place to bring your little one. Ran by Mia, these sessions are a safe space to offload about life as a mum whilst also meeting new mums in the area.
Why These Sessions Matter
Our stay and play sessions are a great way for mums to meet, build friendships and relationships and be listened to by our team. They’re also filled with incredible toys and activities for your little one to enjoy!
What support may look like
- Guidance and support around childhood development including SEN
- Building new connections and support networks
- A space to feel less alone
- A place to share your story and feel heard
Our stay and play sessions weekly at Abingdon & West Middlesbrough Family Hubs and offer different sessions for ages 0-1 and 1-3 years old.
Every session provides a safe space for families to come along, socialise, join in activities to support your little ones development & meet other local mums and families.
How we support
We meet you where you are – over the phone, virtually, or in person. However you feel most comfortable, that’s how we’ll connect.
Emotional Support
A place of safety and no judgement from other mothers
Practical Support & Advocacy
We can liaise with housing, employment, and education services, bridging gaps when extra support is needed.
Working Together with Professionals
We regularly communicate with healthcare teams, GPs, and consultants to ensure joined-up support, while always respecting confidentiality.
Being Present in the Community
