"These sessions are my lifeline after the NICU."
Our Neonatal Natter sessions are designed to give parents space to breathe, connect, and feel understood.
Why Neonatal Natter Matters
These gatherings aren’t about agendas or expectations. They’re about being in the company of others who get it – parents who have also navigated the NICU journey, and who know the mix of joy, worry, and everything in between that comes with life after neonatal care.
What support may look like
- A coffee & cake, pumpkin picking, trips out to Butterfly World or a walk in the park
- A place to help build friendships with other parents who truly understand
- A space to feel less alone
- A place to share your story and feel heard
Whether you come once in a while or regularly, you’ll always be welcomed with warmth, compassion, and a listening ear.
At Leo’s, we believe that connection can be just as healing as clinical care – and these meetups are one of the many ways we hold space for families, together.
How we support
We meet you where you are – over the phone, virtually, or in person. However you feel most comfortable, that’s how we’ll connect.
Emotional Support
A place of safety and no judgement from people who have been in the NICU too
Practical Support & Advocacy
We can liaise with housing, employment, and education services, bridging gaps when extra support is needed.
Working Together with Professionals
We regularly communicate with healthcare teams, GPs, and consultants to ensure joined-up support, while always respecting confidentiality.
There’s no time limit on our support. The NICU journey doesn’t end at discharge, and neither does our care for you. We will hold this space with you, for as long as you need.
