Peer Support
We provide dedicated peer support across Redcar and Cleveland, Middlesbrough, Stockton, Hartlepool, and Darlington through two tailored services:

Developmental Home-Based Support / Peer Support: Specialised peer support alongside developmental home-based care for all NICU families, funded by BBC Children in Need.

Her Journey Support: Specialised peer support specifically for young women aged 16–25, delivered either remotely or right in the comfort of their home, funded by The Pilgrim Trust.

Her Journey Baby Loss Support
Her Journey is a trauma-informed support service delivered by Leo’s Charity (via the Pilgrim Trust Young Women in Mind programme).
We support young women (aged 16–25 at the time of referral) who have experienced pregnancy, baby, or neonatal loss.
We accept referrals for families across Redcar & Cleveland, Middlesbrough, Stockton, Hartlepool, and Darlington.
Please note: Unfortunately, we currently do not have funding available for those over the age of 25, though we are actively working to secure this.
Motherhood at Leo’s
This service works with families in Middlesbrough from diverse cultural, religious, and ethnic backgrounds, providing nurturing, culturally-sensitive wellbeing and child development support.
